I was a minor when I met Bethany Christian Services, I was pregnant & reported sexual abuse and child abandonment to counselor. Instead of helping me like they are suppose to they took advantage of my temporary crisis and withheld support from me to stay with my child. Bethany Christian services was just cited by the California department of social services for TWO separate cases of illegal adoptions . The other victim was a disabled young women pregnant with twins . We are all traumatized for life and will happily posts copies of repeated established citations for reference. This religious corporation has a closet of scary skeletons . Just google how many complaints they have. Not a trust worthy agency , sadly I found it out when it was to late how dishonest they are.

I came to Bethany through a church, my then- counselor attended, seems Bethany openly advertised their services to the church and this was 1991 pre- internet days. I was treated very badly. The facilitator admitted years later she knew” pre- placement “, that, “I didn’t like” this couple that was chosen for me. They were not in the initial files I was shown, but because the ones I was shown didn’t interest me, the facilitator introduced this couple to me. Immediately, I felt something was off about the whole situation. I was on SSD due to CPTSD, being a survivor of childhood trauma and the violent death of my only parent, my mom. I received no help, no pre- placement or post- placement counseling as the literature at the time stated, I would. It has been 30 years of constant grief, regret and confusion. To make matters worse I opted for an “open adoption “, I never received that. I have no relationship with either child( twins). I have many reports from my daughter of physical, emotio
